Ninian Southern Platform has a history of significant in-service weld defects and associated problems. The client actively manage this risk by conducting ROV flooded member detection and the general integrity inspection of the major structural components on a bi-annual basis as well as conducting a more extensive inspection as part of their 3 yearly inspections.

Contracted by Samphire Subsea, Smart Subsea Solutions was tasked with providing a deliverable in the form of a scope of requirements document which could be submitted to market for tender. This required to work closely with the Clients Structural TA as well as Pipelines TA and other stakeholders to suitably define the scope of work required for execution.

The deliverables were issued to the client on time and well within the approved cost, time, resource estimate.
