Project Name: Greater Guillemot Area July 2011
Project Location: North Sea, United Kingdom
The Guillemot West Field is located in Block 21/24, approximately 100km east of Aberdeen. The water depth varies from 83m to 92m across the field. The Guillemot West, Western Extension, Clapham, Pict and Saxon fields are all connected to the Triton FPSO via two common production flow lines. The flow lines run between the FPSO, through manifolds located at DC1, DC2 and DC6 with a pigging loop connecting the two flow lines at DC6. DC6 manifold is a hub for production fluids from DC3, DC5, DC7 and DC8 manifolds.
Smart Subsea Solutions were contracted through and worked in conjunction with Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants to Dana Petroleum to manage the development of the onshore campaign, through the development of procedures and management of subcontractors leading up to the offshore campaign at GGA.
Smart Subsea Solutions provided Client Representation on board the DSV Acergy Osprey during July 2011. The offshore campaign involved a variety of tasks however the priority was to perform P1 and P2 metrology within the FPSO swing circle, to gain the necessary dimensions to fabricate a closing spool. The installation of the closing spool would enable round trip pigging of the P1 and P2 flowline.
Other works performed during this campaign included Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repairĀ at DC5 manifold. Barrier tests were also required to be performed at the Water Injection Valve Skid as well as corrosion inhibitor change out at DC5 Manifold.
