The Flyndre and Cawdor fields are located in the North Sea within several blocks. The Flyndre field straddles Blocks, 30/13, 30/14 in the UK sector and Block 1/5 in the Norwegian sector. The Cawdor field lies across Blocks, 30/13 and 30/14 in the UK sector.

Having provided package engineering support on behalf of Maersk Oil during the fabrication of the Flyndre and Cawdor Manifolds, Smart Subsea Solutions provided client representation on the Technip Vessel DSV Arctic.

During the offshore campaign it was required to oversee the mobilisation of, deployment of and subsea piling of Flyndre (69Te) and Cawdor Manifolds (106Te) as well as the Talisman SSIV (140Te), a gravity based structure at Clyde Platform location.
